Herbert H. Grant, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away January 6, 2012. He was born December 12, 1928 in Liberty, Kentucky to Freddy and Edna Grant. Herbert is a US Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a machinist at Mill Turn for over 23 years and a member of the American Legion Post 64. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Eugena Moore Grant; second wife, Wanda Huntsman Grant; a daughter Pamela Post; one brother and five sisters. Survivors include his son, Jason (Linda Sue) Grant; his daughter, Brandi Parrott; stepchildren Marshall, Patty, Russell, Joan, Juanita and grandchildren; Jason Buchanan, David Harding, William Harding, Jeffrey Parrott, II, Brandon Parrott, and Kristen Hewitt; Grandchildren Ellyssa Grant, Justin Grant ; great- grandchild Kaylen Buchanan, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Floral Park . The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan - Floral Park.
