Herbert 'Ed' Hoover

Herbert "Ed" Hoover 82, of Indianapolis passed away on December 5, 2011. He was born on September 18, 1929 in Bloomington to the late Maggie and Herbert Hoover. He graduated from Bloomington High School. He retired from Allisons after 43 years and was a member of the U.A.W. He was a member of Chapel Glen Church of Christ and loved to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Colleen Hoover, daughters, Brenda Antrobus Smith, Carol (Steve) Wagner, Beverly (Clarence) Bell, brother, David Hoover, grandchildren, Ed and Tonia Sue Bell, Lori (Bob) Long, Andrew (Amanda) Wagner, Ross Wagner, Sandra Spencer Parker and Shane Willingham, great-grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Carson, Shane, Jackson, Michael and Sarah. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 pm with services at 6 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Speedway. Ed was full of love and care for anyone who passed his way.
