Henry Stephen "Steve" Rendleman

Henry Stephen “Steve” Rendleman of Indianapolis passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 65.

He was born in Cabarrus County, NC. He later moved to Indiana with his parents Toby Aaron and Theresa “Tess” Rendleman, and graduated from Logansport High School.

He went on to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Steve retired in 2007, after 33 years as a Marion County Deputy Sheriff, where he received several commendations and awards during his career.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his beloved cats.

Steve is survived by his wife of 31 years, Denise Rae Rendleman; three sisters; and six nieces and nephews.

Calling will be held from 10 am-12 pm, Thursday, December 19 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, with Funeral Services beginning at 12 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM at Little Creek Cemetery in Randolph County, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the charity of your choice benefiting animals or children.
