Henry S. Mclimore

Henry S. McLimore 87, died July 16, 2010. He was born July 31, 1922 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late John Henry and Pearl McLimore. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran, who fought in the Pacific Theatre. After the war he graduated from the University of Kentucky and later obtained three patents while working for General Motors as an aeronautical engineer. Henry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth; children, Laura Wilson, her husband, Ken; John McLimore, his wife Stacia; and, seven grandchildren: Jason, Jonathan, Jared and Elizabeth Guhl; Sarah, Rachel and John Henry McLimore. He was preceded in death by his sister Anna Thompson in 2005. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday July 21, 2010 in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, with the funeral at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd.
