Henry "Hank" F. Medjesky

Henry "Hank" F. Medjesky, born on August 1, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and passed away on April 30, 2025. Hank’s life was defined by his steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment, traits he embodied throughout his thirty-year career at the Indiana Bell Telephone Company. After retirement at the telephone company, Hank enjoyed working at the Zionsville Golf Course where he made many friends. Hank was a dedicated all purpose handyman and would never say no to helping friends, family, and neighbors.

 Hank was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Patricia, who stood by his side through both the joys and challenges of life. Together, they nurtured a family centered around love and mutual respect. Hank was the proud father of his son, Matthew, and daughter Rachel, who is married to Peter Sanchez. 

The light of Hank's life was his granddaughter, Sophia, whose presence brought him immense joy and fulfillment. His family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he cherished every moment spent with them. 

In addition to his immediate family, Hank is survived by his sister Theresa and her children, Bobby, Amanda, and Michael as well as his brother Mark and siser-in-law Shirley. Additional loving memories are shared with his brother Dennis' daughters, Alayne, Allison, and Kara. Hank was preceded in death by his brothers Vincent and Dennis. 

Hank Medjesky's legacy wil endure through the lives he touched and the love he shared. He will be missed dearly by all who had the priviledge to know him. 

Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan in Zionsville on Monday, May 5. Immediate family will have a private viewing from 10 until 10:30 with friends gathering betwen 10:30 until 12:00. Funeral service will follow immediately at same location.
