Henly F. Clapp Jr. 83 of Westfield Indiana gave up the good fight on January 30, 2013. He was born on May 3, 1929 in Hillsboro, Indiana to Henly F. Clapp Sr. and Mary Bertha Clapp (Piquette) and raised by Helen Clapp. He is survived by his two brothers Dick Clapp (Shirley) and Jerry Clapp (Carol). He is predeceased by his siblings; Cleveland Clapp, John Clapp, Viola Fadely, Mildred Emswiller and Rose Moon. He leaves behind the Love of his life for 58 years, Nancy J. Clapp (Roth), and their children; Brian Clapp (Michele), Steve Clapp (Leslie), and Elaine Morfas (Craig), seven grandchildren; Natalie Clapp, Lauren and Landon Clapp, and Elise, Natalie, Mitchell and Olivia Morfas, who were the joy of his life. Henly served four years aboard the S.S. Becuna 319 submarine in the United States Navy, and was a retired foreman from Ford Motor Company of Indianapolis after 32 years. He was a gold member of Middletown Lodge 271, a member of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, and honorably served the Shriners Transportation Club of Indianapolis. His clever sayings will be missed. Services will be1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park 4180 Westfield Rd, Noblesville, with calling 1 hour prior. Special thanks to Prairie Lakes Health Campus of Noblesville for their outstanding care.
