Helene Campbell Evans

Helene Campbell Evans 92, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 22, 2014. Helene was born on January 16, 1922 in Enid, Oklahoma. She built her career as a copywriter editor for L.S. Ayers, retiring in 1987. She was a longtime member of Abundant Harvest United Methodist Church. Helene was preceded in death by her brother, Peyton Campbell and sister, Joyce Blume. She is survived by nieces, Carole Haslock and husband Ed, Helene Blume and husband Ken and Hollis Blume and husband Chris; nephews, Pete Blume and wife Debbie and Jeff Blume and wife Elaine; five great nephews; one great niece; one great great nephew and very dear friends; Betty Serafino and Bobbi Munholland. Services will be Tuesday, April 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple. Burial will take place at Beardstown Illinois City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society or P.A.W.S.
