90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was born to James A. and Bessie E. Mills on Aug. 28, 1925 in Tell City, IN. She was affiliated with the United Christian Church of Bristow (IN) before moving to the Indianapolis area.
She first married Alfred Hudson and had a daughter, Rhonda Faye Hudson. She later married Richard D. (Dick) Lindsey and has a stepson, Richard E. Lindsey. Helen held various jobs throughout her life. Most recently, she worked at RCA in Indianapolis and retired from there in 1985.
Helen had one sister, Hazel Mills, who along with Helen's daughter, Rhonda, and her husband, Dick, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her stepson, Rick, and his wife, Elissa; their three children, Kaitlin (Tim) Brodnik, April Looney, Richard C. Lindsey and his wife, Amy; 5 great-grandchildren and Rhonda's fiancé, Rick Carrier, who selflessly helped care for Helen the past 20 years.
Helen suffered several health problems for many years,but she had an incredible knack for overcoming challenges in daily living. She was an amazing woman with a heart for others, an internal strength not often seen and a ready smile for everyone she saw. She will truly be missed by her loving family.90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick Lindsey, a daughter Rhonda Faye Hudson and a sister Hazel Mills. She is survived by her son Rick Lindsey and Family and a son in law Rick Carrier.
