Helen Laverne (Huff) Wagoner, our precious mother, sister, grandma, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016. Helen was a joy to be around and loved golf, reading the paper, and a good candy bar.

Helen was a graduate of Zionsville High School, Class of 1944, as well as Butler University, where she was a dedicated Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was married to her husband, Floyd Edwin Wagoner, on July 31, 1949. She was a member of Zionsville United Methodist Church and Psi Iota Xi, a community philanthropic organization. She was also a member of Kokomo Country Club and Harbor Trees Golf Club.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, her father Clarence Orman Huff, her mother Maude Dean Huff, her brother-in-law, John Rosenstihl, and her infant granddaughter, Courtney Unger.

She leaves her son, Bradley Jay Wagoner, wife Tracy, and daughter, Ann Wagoner Unger, husband Roger; granddaughters, Lindsay Wagoner Groves (husband Michael), Ashley Wagoner Trammell (husband Ryan), Alexis Ann Unger, Alyssa Diane Unger, Carolyn Susanne Brown, and grandson, Keith Eugene Brown; great-granddaughters, Parker Grace Groves and Emory Bradley Trammell. She also leaves her sister, Juanita “Fanny” Rosenstihl, her Brother, Frank Huff and his wife, Jane Huff.

We wish to recognize the loving care provided by Zionsville Meadows Assisted Living and Memory Care nurses and staff.
