Helen L. Lanning

92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2021.  Helen was born on September 24, 1928 in Milton, Kentucky to the late Ashby and Hazel Rodgers.  Family was very important to her, she was a homemaker, wife and mother.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Lanning; sons, Larry and Terrace Lanning and her parents.  She is survived by her son, Jimmy Lanning; grandchildren, Lynda (Dean) Reid, Jesse (Randie) Lanning, Kelsi Hunt and Allison Lanning-Jarrett; sisters, Virginia Drennen and Mary Stacy; great-grandchildren, Patrycia Hollcraft-Corbett, Tyler Hollcraft and Bryce Reid and great great grandchildren, Allyson, Rylee, Tyberius, Josh, Zach, Taylor, Ryan, Tyler and Raylynn.  Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021 from 4pm to 7 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
