Helen Jo O’Malia, 84 of Noblesville, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016. Helen was born February 13, 1932 in Monrovia to the late Ernest and Jeanette McClellan.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 19 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where a service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, July 20.
Helen was the widow of William E. O’Malia. She is survived by her sons, Michael T. (Cindy), Kevin E. (Shelly) and John E. O’Malia; grandchildren, Kelly and Shane O’Malia, Brady and Connor O’Malia, Courtney and Cameron O’Malia; great grandchild, Kinley O’Malia; brother, George McClellan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edgar and Robert McClellan and sister, Louise Winegardner.
Helen and her husband William were proud business owners of O'Malia's Fireplace Shop and Gnome Crossing, both in Carmel, for 49 years. Helen's hobbies included quilting, spending time with the old gang, watching the Colts and Pacers, playing cards, and creating memories with her family and friends.
Thank you to the nurses, therapists, and staff at Kindred-Bridgewater for the excellent care that they provided for Helen.
