Of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Helen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 15, 1931 to Jack and Bernice (Lamb) Smith.
Helen’s number one priority during her lifetime was her family. She chose to stay at home to raise and care for her husband and her children so she could meet every need they had. On top of cooking several meals daily for her family, she was very handy with the sewing machine! They were never without quilts, and clothing made by Helen.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Warren Keith Oden; parents, Jack and Bernice Smith; daughter, Lynn Oden; and 2 sisters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie (Darrel) Wilson and Joellen (Joseph Higi) Oden; Grandchildren, Darrel L. (Amy) Wilson, Brook Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Jennifer Lutton (David York), Jacob (Dee) Kattau; several grandchildren; as well as 2 sisters and a brother.
