Helen I. Whitmoyer, 95 of Westfield, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021.  Helen was born April 1, 1926 in Carrington, ND to the late George and Elva Hiatt.   She was a 1944 graduate of Carrington ND High School. She was married to her childhood sweetheart Robert for 71 years.  She took great pride in her family and home and dearly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Helen loved attending the Sanders Glen weekly church service.  Affectionately known as GiGi to her grandchildren and great grandchildren she spent many hours playing with them and teaching them life skills.  She loved to play card games with friends, cook, fish, golf and travel. She loved attending her grandkids and great grandkids school and sporting events.  Helen volunteered for many years at the Westfield-Washington Schools.  Prior to raising her family, she worked as an Executive Secretary with Indiana Bell Telephone in Indianapolis.  She took many trips all over the country with her friends and family.

Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert; children, David A. (wife, Jeane) Whitmoyer and Donna K. (husband, Ron) Snyder; grandchildren, Bradley J. (wife, Malissa) Crawford and Katherine R. (husband, Jeremy) Morris; great grandchildren, Rylan, Emery and Finnley Crawford, Audrey and Charlotte Morris; 2 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Alkire and brother, Don Hiatt.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 4 at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
