Helen E. Andros

Helen Andros, 90, of Fishers, IN (formerly of Crown Point, IN), passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Pauline Erkekedis, her husband William Andros, and her sister Katherine Kurtis. Helen is survived by two devoted and loving daughters, Paula and Cheryl Andros, her sister in laws Mary C. Andros, Mary S. Andros, and Joyce Andros, her cousin Helen Tomaszewski, her godson Metropolitan Tarasios of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Society. She was an active Avon representative for 37 years during which she won many awards. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 3500 W. 106th Street, Carmel, from 4 to 8 pm with a Trisagion Service at 7 pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at Holy Trinity at 11 am, Father William J. Bartz officiating, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Ridgelawn-Mount Mercy Cemetery in Gary, IN on Thursday, May 8th at 12:00 CST. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church.
