Helen Charmaine "Char" Carson

Helen Charmaine (Char) Carson, born on November 23, 1927, passed on from this earth and into the hands of the Lord on July 17, 2023.
Char married Robert Carson and moved to Arcadia, Indiana to raise their children, Kent and Sharon.
Char was a devoted wife, the loving mother and Matriarch of two Children, seven Grandchildren, eleven Great Grandchildren and one Great, Great Grandchildren. Char was a loving sister to four siblings and a precious aunt to many nieces and nephews. She had a very kind and loving nature and touched so many in her 95 years of life.
Char worked at Thomson-McKinnon Securities downtown on the circle for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers, spending time with her family and helping others. Char was also a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Indianapolis.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Carson; children, Kent Carson and Sharon McEntire Carson; and three brothers, Jack Chapman, Tom Chapman and Joe Chapman. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Susie) Engle and loving family.
Funeral services will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, on Friday July 21st at 2:30pm with visitation beginning at 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial contribution to Epworth United Methodist Church, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220 in honor of Charmaine.
