Heidi M. Niehus

Heidi M. Niehus, 54, passed from this life on November 7, 2018. She was the only daughter of John J. and Gretchen V. Niehus. She grew up in Avon Indiana along with 3 wonderful and loving brothers. She attended Avon High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Magna Cum Laude, from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis. She received awards for Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, member of Beta Gamma Sigma and received merit on The National Dean’s List. She proudly worked for Simon Property Group for 32 years in various departments and roles. Heidi was awarded the Employee of the Year in 2004. Along with receiving these accolades she also acquired a great number of lifelong work family and friends throughout her time at Simon. All who knew Heidi found her kindness and caring to be genuine and her wit and humor to be one of a kind.
She had a fond love of photography, especially taking pictures of her wonderful nieces and nephews. One of her greatest joys in life was to spend time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Gretchen Niehus, brother, Brian Niehus. She is survived by her brothers, John (Cindy) Niehus, Kevin (Sarah) Niehus. Her nieces Allison (Ryan) McCaslin, Hilde Niehus, nephews, Eric Niehus, Colton Niehus and Hayden Niehus.
