Hazel Helton

Hazel Helton 91, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 5, 2013. She was born on February 6, 1922 in Bell County, Kentucky the daughter of Ardill and Dora Lawson. She was a volunteer at Gleeners Food Bank for over 20 years. Survivors: 3 sons, Noah, Jerry and Richard Helton; 4 daughters, Myrtle Roark, Mildred Halcomb, Freda Goode and Irene Barker; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, RD and David Lawson and 4 sisters, Helen Brock, Viola Helton, Bessie Neal and Martha Mae Helton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob "Tom Dooley" Helton in 1982. Visitation, 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 8, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial, Floral Park Cemetery.
