Haywood Gilbert Law

Haywood Gilbert Law, Jr., 85, of Canton, MI, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was born on January 31, 1926 in Holland, KY to Haywood Gilbert and Alice (Jones) Law. Gil served his country in the Army during WWII and worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Indianapolis and Canton Calvary A.O.G. in Michigan. Gil is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mabel (Marcum) Law; children, Marcia LaBeau and Bruce (Jennifer) Law; grandchildren, Shawn, Melissa, Gaby, Carson; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 6 brothers. Visitation for Mr. Law will be Tuesday evening from 4 until 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Speedway. Funeral services will be held at Lighthouse Tabernacle Church on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11am. Burial will be Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons.
