Harry E. Ingalls, Jr.

80 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2023.  Harry was born on January 4, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harry and Mary Ingalls.  He was an Army veteran.  He worked for Allison Transmission in Speedway for 27 years; retiring at the very young age of 50.  He enjoyed his retirement immensely by fishing and hunting.  He spent many hours at Yates Lake.  He was preceded in death by his siblings; Linda Ingalls, Julianna “Juju” Smith, Sally Ingalls and Billy Ingalls and parents.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon Lynn Ingalls; daughters, Cindy Ingalls and Angie Ingalls; grandchildren, Sara Garrett and Cody Harrell and siblings, Rosemary Ballard, Donna Ferguson, Ronnie Ingalls and Jessie Sloan.  Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Funeral service will be Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
