Harry C. Myers

October 10, 1922 — January 13, 2015

The world lost another WWII veteran on January 13, 2015. Harry C. Myers, 92, passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 65 years by his side. He is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Angel) Myers, his three children; Cathy J (Keith) Roberts, Phillip L (Susy Komenda-Myers) Myers, Elizabeth (George Pigg) Myers; four grandchildren; Kelly (Jason) Smith, Gavin (Angie) Myers, Kolby Myers, Allison Myers-Pigg; two great-grand children; Madison and Landon Smith. He worked at Western Electric for 31 years and was owner of Myers Landscape Company, Myers Construction Company and developer of Country Lake Estates and Pine Knoll in Noblesville, Indiana. Harry served in the Army in the European Theater as a Technician 5th Grade in the Heavy Maintenance Supply Division. A Military Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warriors. Our country is in mourning because a soldier passed away.
