Harry Andersen

Harry Andrew Andersen, Sr., 79, from Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 8,2026. Born in Pleasantville, N.J. on Aug. 28,1947 to Harry and Katherine (Elbertson). 

He was married to his wife Diane for 59 years, they had 4 children, Harry (Dawn), April (Shawn), Dayna (Jeff), Kenny (Kate). They have 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, June (Earl), Annette, and his brother (Bobby), as well as several nieces and nephews. 

He served in the Army Reserves for 6 years and was a sergeant when he discharged. He attended a few trade schools. He owned his own business that he enjoyed, and was also gifted in many areas, carpentry, machinery, auto, and he also enjoyed owning horses. 

He was a quiet man, but STRONG in his FAITH! He has gone to Heaven before us, but his prayer has always been for all his family to KNOW and TRUST in JESUS!
