Harold Stanley

Harold Richard Stanley (Dick) passed away on September 27, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 19, 1933, to Madonna (Fulton) and Harry Stanley.

 Dick joined the Air Force after graduating from Howe High School and later joined the Indianapolis Police Department as a police officer for 20 years. He continued working as a security guard for Link-Belt Company and eventually retired from St. Francis Hospital where he also worked as a security guard.

Dick was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Schierbaum, and his beloved wife, Erma Jean Stanley.

He is survived by his sons, Brian (Connie) Stanley of Indianapolis, IN and Jeff (David Steen) Stanley, Little River, SC, his grandchildren, Natalie (Matt) Flowers, Greenfield, IN, Samantha (Brian) Lebowitz, Indianapolis, IN, Wyatt Stanley, Beech Grove, IN, and great grandchildren, Zoey and Gavin Flowers, Greenfield, IN, and Nora Jo Lebowitz (Due November 2023), Indianapolis, IN.

A graveside service will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East on October 3, 2023, at 3 p.m. Family will meet at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East funeral home at 2:45 before proceeding into the cemetery.
