Harold Lee Short

Harold Lee Short 67, of Indianapolis died on October 20, 2011. Harold was born on August 07, 1944 in Indianapolis to Buford and Ova Elizabeth (Muse) Short. Harold was a member of Bluff Baptist Church and was an insulation installer for 43 years where he worked for L.C. Cassidy and Sons and Overhead Doors of Indianapolis. Harold married Dorothy M. (Stevens) Short of Indianapolis on February 01, 1980 in Indianapolis, IN. Harold leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 31 years Dorothy M. Short, children Harold Lee (Michele) Short Jr., Donny Lee (Janet) Short, Donna Ann Craig, Carolyn Sue Patterson, Ruby Jean Zoderer, Judy Lynn (Tony) Simons, Phyllis Elizabeth (Michele) Clark. He was a very proud and loving grandfather to Laurin, Dustin, Adam Short, Brittani, Braxton, Christopher, Samantha and Addison Short, Billy Craig, Kristy Olsen, Joe (Jenn) Baumann, Amanda (Nick) Bryant, and Jennifer Patterson, Samantha Zoderer and Amy Simons and a great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Alice (Bud) Barnett and Debbie Reyes and Bob Short. Calling will be held on Sunday October 23, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Floral Park 425 North Holt Road Indianapolis, IN 46222 from 4 PM to 8 PM and Monday October 24, 2011 from 10 AM with the funeral service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
