Harold L. Willard

Harold L. Willard 93 of Indianapolis, IN died July 10, 2013. He was born on March 10, 1920 to the late McKinley and Dora (Buckingham) Willard. He was a Tree Surgeon for Willard Tree Service for over 30 years retiring in 1982. He proudly served in the U S Army during World War II. He was a member of Charity Church. He is survived by his children, Linda Catellier, Warren L. Willard, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Patsy Ray, Peggy Trout, Margie Kennedy, Mary L. Hicks, and brother, Jim Willard. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Pearl Ethel (Quimby) Willard, his son, Harold Wayne "Sonny" Willard,sisters, Geneva Mitchem, Pearl Lincoln, Imogene Willard, Evelyn M. Willard, brothers, John, Bill Willard and Ted Rhodes. Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with Pastor David Gibson officiating. Visitation will be held there Friday July 12th 6-8 PM. He will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
