Harold James Young

Harold James Young of Indianapolis passed away March 17, 2020 at the age of 93.

He was born May 3, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Charles Elmer Young and Corda Agnes (Owens) Young.

Harold served his country in the US Navy Seabees on Guam.

He met the love of his life Kathleen Young, and they were married on May 15, 1948.  They moved into their current house in 1953 and have made this home for over 70 years.

He went on to work until the time of his retirement at Chrysler.

He is survived sons Jerry L. Young and Mark Alan Young (Tracie); granddaughter Jamie Holland (Josh); and great-granddaughter Maggie Holland.

He is preceded by death his loving wife of 73 years Kathleen Young on February 17, 2020; and siblings Paul Young, Bob Young, Richie Young, Bill Young, and Ellen Evans.

Harold will be laid to rest next to his wife Kathleen at Washington Park East Cemetery.
