Harold Gray Simmons, 77, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away November 28, 2019. He was born in Kure, North Carolina to the late Archie and Isla Simmons. As a family, they moved to Indiana when Harold was five years old, but he always held a special place in his heart for the Carolina’s.
After high school, Harold went on to college at Purdue where he studied computer engineering. He later worked as a Trucker for Carquest.
Harold married the love of his life, the late Margaret June, and together they raised their two sons in the Indianapolis area. He loved to spend his days off at the shooting range, but spent most of his time surrounded by those he loved. Harold was a dedicated family man.
Harold is survived by his two loving sons, Robert (Char) Simmons and Blaine (Kimberly) Simmons; and grandchildren, Keaton and Christina.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Margaret June Simmons.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 3PM to 5PM with a funeral service to begin at 5PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, 46229.
