Harold Joseph Frecker (84) of Noblesville, IN, passed away at home on December 8, 2023, after falling ill from cancer. He was the 9th of 10 children born to Joseph and Marie Frecker on January 8, 1939, in Monroeville, IN.
Harold was a veteran of the Indiana Air National Guard/US Air Force, serving several months in France during the Berlin Crisis. Harold retired from United Technology Corporation in 1997 after 34 years, working in various locations in the US and overseas where he had the privilege to enjoy traveling extensively with his wife and family.
Harold celebrated his 61st wedding anniversary on November 10, 2023, with his wife Mary (Loos). Together they had four children: Theresa (Jeff) Williams, Michael (Donna) Frecker, Julie (Joseph) Thoele, and Kristi (Rod) Grimsley; and eight grandchildren: Jenne Frecker, Olivia Thoele, William (Lexie) Frecker, Michaela Williams, Lea (Adam) Bennett, Garrett Grimsley, Corinne Williams, and Payton Grimsley.
Harold was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. He enjoyed volunteering his time for charitable organizations and helping friends and neighbors. He was known for being physically active, often walking 10 miles a day and working in his garden.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, IN, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 10 am. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am.
