Harold D. 'Dean' Jones

HAROLD D.JONES Harold “Dean” Jones, 76 of Indianapolis, passed away September 26, 2010. He was born August 22, 1934 in Knox County, KY to Samuel and Della Jones. He was a charter member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He received an honorable discharge from the National Guard of Kentucky in 1955 and retired from Best Lock Corporation at the age of 59. He married Shirley J. Tedders of 53 years and she survives along with six children,Darrell Jones, Jerry (Barbi)Jones, Sherry Jones, Joanne (Jack)Edwards, Joel (Erin) Jones and Mary Dykstra; two grand-children, John Christopher Dykstra and Kay Isabella Jones; brothers, Samuel (Pauline)Jones,Willard Jones and Jim (Jenny) Jones;sisters, Naomi Rowe, Wilma(Keith)Wilke and Zola(Mac)MacLauren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Eugene Jones and two sisters, Marie Beecher and Sonja Hudson. Calling will be Wednesday September 29, ,2010 from 4 to 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center. Funeral Services will be Thursday,September 30, 2010 at 11am at Cornerstone Baptist Church,10701 E. 56th St.,Indianapolis,IN 46235. Interment will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
