Halder “Pat” Wayne Matters

85, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 26, 2017. Pat was a prominent automotive executive for forty plus years in the Indianapolis area. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in the 82nd Airborne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Matters and son, Jeffrey Matters. He is survived by sons, Greg (Dara), David (Kimberly), Patrick (Beth) and Tony Matters; daughter-in-law, Dawn Matters; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). Graveside services to follow the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
