H. Dale Davisson

H. Dale Davisson,

87, of New Palestine, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis on July 1, 1929 and raised on the city’s Eastside attending Howe High School. For over 50 years, Dale worked for the Justus Companies of Indianapolis serving in many roles including a brick & block mason Foreman, Construction Superintendent of many single-family homes on the Eastside, Construction Manager of numerous multi-family apartment projects throughout Indiana and surrounding states, and VP of Property Management for several rental properties including all of the Crestwood Village locations. Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He was also a longtime member of Oriental Lodge #500, F&AM;, Indianapolis Scottish Rite, and Murat Shriners as well as E. 91st Street Christian Church.

Dale is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Phyllis A. (Perrin) Davisson, his children Lynn (Jay) Noel and Cort (Sarah) Davisson, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred (Frank) Young; and his brother-in-law, Donald “Gus” (Donna) Perrin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara Patrick, and his brother, Tommy Davisson.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Feb. 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
