Gregory Thomas Terry

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory “Greg” Thomas Terry, who passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026. He was 60 years old and would have celebrated his 61st birthday on September 8. He was taken from us far too soon, and the reality of his absence remains incredibly difficult to comprehend. Greg was a son, a brother, a father, a partner, and a friend whose life touched many others. He is survived by his two children, Sydney and Cooper; who will forever carry a part of him with them. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Dorothy; his father, Norman; his brother, Scott; his friend and companion of 17 years, Debbie; and his extended family and friends. He was a human being who loved, was loved, and mattered deeply. Those who knew him will remember him in their own personal ways: through shared experiences, familiar stories, laughter, lessons learned, and memories that time can never completely take away. His passing reminds us how fragile life can be and how important it is to extend compassion, offer forgiveness, and tell those we love what they mean to us while we still have the opportunity. Although there may now be words left unspoken, our love for Greg remains—and so does the hope that he has found the peace that may sometimes have eluded him in life. While we grieve the future moments, we will never have with him, we will also hold tightly to the memories that remain. Rest peacefully, Greg. You were gone far too soon, you will never be forgotten, and you will always be a part of us.
