Gregory M. Byard

Gregory M. Byard, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, IN and follower of Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Born on September 10, 1954 into the family of Donald W. and Ruth G. Byard, Greg was the fifth child of seven. Greg is preceded in death by both parents, sisters Janice M. Byard-McKinley (William) and Rebecca L. Russell (Edmond), and niece Wendy M. Byard (sons Antonio and Jaylen). Survivors include sister Lois A. Eads (Melvin, deceased) and brothers Dale W. (Jenny), Richard L. (Pamela), and Terry A. (Favian). Greg was a graduate of Northwest High School, class of 1972.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of the S-ICU team of Community Heart and Vascular Hospital for their expert and compassionate care provided to Greg and family during his stay. They would also like to thank all of their extended family, friends, and coworkers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult, yet celebratory time.
