Grace Ruth Nellinger

Grace Ruth Nellinger, age 90 of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away on the evening of June 6, 2018 at the Plainfield Health Care facility in Plainfield, Indiana. She was born in Loveland, Ohio on March 24, 1928 to Samuel Zike and Grace Mills Zike, the youngest of four sisters, Daisy M. Strain, Annabelle Southern, and Beulah Ingram.

She was a graduate of Bloomington High School and spent her professional career as a bank teller in Plainfield.

Grace leaves behind her son Michael A. Nellinger and his wife Jan of Indianapolis, Indiana; son Ralph Leon Nellinger of Columbia, Tennessee; daughter Pamela N. Adamson and her husband Max Adamson of Indianapolis, Indiana, son Robert Bruce Nellinger of Plainfield, Indiana; and son John Clark Nellinger also of Plainfield, Indiana. Grace was grandmother to Michael Hunter Nellinger, Robert Leon Nellinger, Edwin Christian Nellinger, Adalyn Nellinger, Sarah Rose Adamson, David Nellinger Adamson, Allyson Dionne Nellinger, Jonathon Cole Nellinger. Four great grandchildren survive as well. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Daisy M. Strain.

A private memorial service will be held with immediate family members in the near future.
