Gordon Bruce Alexander

Gordon Bruce Alexander, 85, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away from complications of FTD (frontotemporal dementia) on August 5, 2025. He was born on June 23, 1940, in St. Johns, Michigan, to parents, Dr. Reuben Alexander and Erma (Cummings) Alexander.
Gordon worked for the State of Michigan ending his career with the Strategic Fund for 36 years before he retired in 2002. In his free time, Gordon loved to play golf and go boating with his family in Elk Rapids, Michigan.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Patti Jo (Gyenge) Alexander; son, Gordon B. II (Catherine Angier); stepson, Christian (Mandy) Walker; grandchildren, Graham, Simon, Maxwell, and Vincent; and loving cousin Thomas Kareckas Sr. (Mary).
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Marilyn and Sharon.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Wellbrooke of Carmel and Paradigm Health for their loving care of Gordon.
