Gloria A. Montgomery

Age 83, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Gloria was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 17, 1933 to the late Roy and Eva (Smith) Lewis.

During her career, Gloria had worked as a self-employed seamstress / upholsterer. She was outgoing, and enjoyed her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Evangelistic Center. She enjoyed music and was a gospel singer.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hurston D. Montgomery. She is survived by her children: Deena Nasby, Darrell W. Montgomery and Donna Belcher; seven grandchildren: Aaron Barnett, Ryan Barnett, Terry Parker, Darren Vinard, Alana Vinard, Shawna Montgomery Lowder, Stacy Montgomery Holliday; seven great-grandchildren: Bryce Vinard, Cayleb Vinard, Andrew Vinard, Andrew Owens, Cassidy Cain, Brad Cain and Kalab Lowder; and one great-great-grandson, Eric Owens.

Calling will be held from Noon until 1pm on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, with memorial services immediately following at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock Regional Hospice.
