Glenn Donald Pratt, a dedicated advocate for the environment and a loving husband, passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 86 in Indianapolis, IN. Born on September 22, 1937, in Vallejo, CA, Glenn was a man of integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to his work and loved ones.

Glenn spent the majority of his career at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Quality Control Manager, where he worked tirelessly in addressing environmental issues and ensuring the preservation of our planet. His passion for cleaning up waterways was unparalleled, and his relentless efforts in this area led him to be promoted to the esteemed position of Assistant Commissioner of the EPA. In recognition of his sustained leadership, Glenn was honored with the prestigious Bronze Medal Award for his exceptional contributions to the field, specifically in the development and implementation of a Municipal Toxicant Monitoring and Control Program.

In addition to his career of advocacy for the environment, Glenn was also a proud and active supporter of the Sierra Club, with a particular focus on water issues.  Glenn also actively served in and supported the Central Indiana Chapter of the NAACP.

Beyond his professional achievements, Glenn was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan Nicholson Pratt. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and cherished memories.

Glenn's legacy will be forever remembered, not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting the environment. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire future generations in their pursuit of environmental preservation.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Susan Nicholson Pratt his, his niece - Danielle Pratt, nephew - Mark Pratt, and his great nephews and nieces: Kristopher Braun, Elizabeth Cairns, Autumn Bayliss, and Mark Rodgers.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North in Indianapolis, Indiana.
