Glenn S. Harper, 60, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on November 6, 2025. Glenn was born to Shirley Doty on November 18, 1964.
Glenn was larger than life, known for his contagious and boisterous laugh that could fill any room and a great sense of humor that kept everyone smiling. Driven by remarkable determination and skill, he founded A-1 Machine Services. He built the business from the ground up, using his mechanical knowledge and tireless work ethic to both manufacture custom parts and offer on-site machine repairs. In his free time he loved to hit the open road on his motorcycle, but more than anything, he loved his family – especially his beloved granddaughters, who were the joy of his life.
Glenn is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Ann Doty.
He was cherished by many, including his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Alanah Harper; his granddaughters, Rylee and Marlee Harper; his grandparents Glenn & Margaret Doty; and his aunts and uncles: Meriday Crazyhorse, Fred & Sandy Doty, Kim & Randy Lillicotch, David & Jamie Doty, Curtis & Pamela Doty, and Tonia & Larry Patterson.
Visitation for Glenn will take place November 14, 2025, from 1:00-5:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
