Glenn Gardner Goodrich 49 of Indianapolis died August 13, 2011. Glenn was born February 09, 1962 in Detroit, MI to Aubrey and Marilyn (Prust) Goodrich. Glenn was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Glenn worked as a manufacturing engineer for Ike Lite Underwater Systems for the past 23 years. Glenn also had a passion for law enforcement where he was formerly a Reserve Police Officer for the Cicero Police Department. He was also involved with the former Marion County Sheriff’s Department before the merger to IMPD. Glenn was an integral part of E.S.G. Security Co. where he was a part of both the working and supervisory staff. He had a commanding knowledge of the operations of the company which made him a valuable asset to the company. Anyone who ever met Glenn would consider him to be a great friend. Glenn was preceded in death by his brother Grant Goodrich. Calling will be held on Friday August 19, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46228 from 4 PM to 8 PM and Sat August 20, 2011 from 10 AM to service time. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM at the Funeral Center. Glenn is survived by his loving wife Heather Anne (Swearingen) Goodrich and their two sons Turner Glenn and Cade Edward Goodrich, his parents Aubrey “Bob” and Marilyn (Prust) Goodrich, sister Gloria (Tom) Barnes and brother Greg Goodrich, father- in- law Larry (Kathy) Swearingen and mother- in- law Elizabeth (Charles) Dudgeon. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic School 4650 North Shadeland Ave. Lawrence, IN 46226. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
