Glenn Ardell Shubert

Glenn Ardell Shubert, New Palestine, IN May 5, 1933-May 20, 2017, 84 passed from this life into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday morning. Glenn served our country in the US Army. Glenn was a printer for 32 years retiring from Miles Press Inc. in 1998. He was a member of Eagledale Baptist Church which is now Crosspointe Baptist Church, Graphic Communications International, Union Local M-17. He was a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana and Advance America of Indiana. Glenn was preceded in death by his son David Glenn Shubert in March of 1999. Glenn is survived by his wife Leah Frances (Ryker) Shubert who he married November 26, 1955 in Lafayette, IN their daughter Rhonda (Mark) Burris, his grandchildren Anna Woods, Christopher Burris, Ryan (Stephanie) Burris and Joshua (Meagan) Burris and his great grandchildren Jacob and Olivia Woods and Harper Burris and his sister Shirley M Young. Calling will be held on Thursday May 25, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park 425 North Holt Road Indianapolis, IN from 11 to 1 pm followed by the funeral service at 1pm. Entombment: Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Crosspointe Baptist Church C/O Joseph Floyd Scholarship Fund.
