Glenda Faye Hunsucker

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Glenda Faye Hunsucker, who departed this life peacefully on May 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on May 2, 1939, in Bedford, Indiana, Glenda was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, known for her unwavering commitment to her family and her dedication to her career.

Glenda graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis and served as a supervisor at Aetna Health Insurance, where she exemplified leadership and compassion throughout her tenure. She was a devoted member of OASIS and served with an ever present smile. She was cherished by her colleagues and left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Glenda is survived by her loving sister, Pamela Schrowe, her brother George Hunsucker (Pat), her niece Laura Noll, and her nephews, Kyle (Jill) Hunsucker, Robert (Lynette) Schrowe, David (Yolanda) Schrowe, Michael Funk, Brian (Jodi) Funk, Chris (Kelly) Funk, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Wright, her sister Suzette, and parents, George and Helen Hunsucker.

Her family will forever remember her sunny disposition, optimism, Democratic values, her love for Elvis Presley, generosity, and the love she gave.

Public visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East on May 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Glenda will be laid to rest immediately following the service.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Glenda Hunsucker’s name to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
