Glen Dale Waldrup, age 77 of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2026, in the comfort of his own home with his loving family by his side.
Glen was born on November 1, 1948, in Murray, Kentucky a son of Clement James Waldrup and Iva Nell (Duncan) Croft. Glen is preceded in death by his father: Clement James Waldrup.
Glen is survived by his mother: Iva Nell Croft.
Glen married Lucy Spears on May 11, 1984, in Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by his loving wife Lucy Waldrup of Indianapolis.
Glen is also survived by his children: sons Dale Waldrup and Chris Waldrup.
His daughter: DeeAnn Cox (Johnny).
Stepchildren: daughters Cristina Kennelly (Tom) and Maria DeBruhl.
Brothers: Darrell Waldrup (Jan), Larry Waldrup (Anita), Mark Ivy (Jenny).
Sisters: Gaynell Cross, Marilyn Farley (Dean), Debbie Brown (Denny).
Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and relatives.
Glen is preceded in death by his father Clement James Waldrup, stepfather's Art Ivy and Ray Croft, as well as his brother Jimmy Waldrup.
Glen was born in Murray, Kentucky and lived there until age 12 when the family relocated to Indiana.
Glen worked in construction and also worked as a bouncer until he became a mechanic.
After retirement he worked part time for Walmart and Westside Garden Plaza Nursing Home.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to yard sales, family gatherings, cooking, singing and his family pets.
He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor and his honesty.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
An additional visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM also at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center.
The funeral service to celebrate Glen's life will follow at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
