Gladys Madie Curtis

Gladys Madie Curtis, 85 of Indianapolis passed away on November 2, 2013. She was born July 22, 1928 in Dubre, Kentucky to Joel R. and Lena Jane Davis White. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Billy Curtis, three sisters and one brother. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Phyllis Lewis and Bobby Joe Young as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Gladys moved to Indianapolis after marrying Reggie Curtis in Kentucky in 1946. She loved to crochet and was very good at growing flowers. Her favorite was red flowers. She attended The Church of Jesus Christ – Apostolic Church. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m until service time at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
