Gladys Fisher

Gladys L. Fisher, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 8, 2011. She was born on April 28, 1931 in Glasgow, KY as the daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Crowe) Matthews. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Lattie; son, Frank L. Fisher; sister, Jean Wood. She is survived by her sister, Mary Williams, of Mason City, Ill; children, Lynn Fisher, Nancy (Frank) Welton and Bill (Gina) Fisher, all of Indianapolis. Gladys is also survived by grandchildren, Lisa, Christy, Jeremy; step-grandchildren, Brittney and Lyndsey; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Keadon, Trenton and the newest addition, Brendan; step-great-grandchildren, Evan, Braden and Bryce. Funeral Services for Mrs. Fisher will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 11am, with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Visitation will also be held at the funeral center Monday evening from 4 until 8pm. Burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
