Ginger L. Powell

Ginger L. Powell 62 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away December 29, 2011. Ginger was born on March 3, 1949 in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Walter L. Poynter and Wanda L. (Martin) Poynter. She was a Medical transcriptionist at I. U. Health, Methodist Hospital. Survivors: daughter, Melissa Frazier; 4 grandchildren, including Michael Powell; 3 great grandchildren; mother, Wanda L. Poynter; brother, Daniel Poynter; sisters, Debra (George) Bacher, Carole Rossman and Shelley Durell and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at the funeral center. Burial, Washington Park East Cemetery.
