Gerald S. Harris

Gerald S. Harris, 71, of Whiteland, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Westview hospital. Gerald was born in Junction City, KY son of Willis and Minnie (Simmons) Harris. He was a member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple and retired in 2005 from Holland House Furniture where he was General Manager. He was also a partner in J.J. Madden Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Martha Reed Harris, daughters, Maria Canter, Susan Harris, Samantha Harris; son, William Harris; stepdaughter, Martha Hittle and stepson, Charles Reed.; brothers, James and Ron Harris; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held, 1:00 PM, Monday, November 7, 2011 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center at Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
