Gerald “Jerry” Lee Miller, 86, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 26, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1940, in Indianapolis, to parents, Marion Hubert Miller and Mary Ellen (Gaddie) Miller.

Jerry was a proud United States Marine. After his military service, he worked as a truck driver until he retired. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed trying his luck at pull tabs both there and at The Thompson House. Although he rarely missed buying a lottery ticket, he most often heard his least favorite phrase, “this is not a winner”. Jerry enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR, and found pleasure in reading the latest issue of the National Enquirer.

He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather. His grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. Jerry was also a loyal and dependable friend. Those fortunate enough to know him often called him “Rudy”. He will be remembered for his love for family and his sense of humor.

Jerry is survived by his son, Thomas (Anita) Miller, and grandchildren, Amy, Justin, Carlos, Zac, Maddie, Kati Jo and Brook; his son, Mark (Bonnie) Miller, and grandchildren, Nikki, Kayla, and William (Lee); and his daughter, Rachel (Brett) Wood, and grandchildren, Mara, Jace, Skylar and Baylor Lee. Jerry is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and his half-siblings, Michael Miller, Sandra Miller, Deborah Christmas, and Shirley Nalley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Patricia Siebenthal and Lois Hickey; and his half-brother, James Miller.

Visitation for Jerry will be from 10:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) – 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062. A graveside service with military honors and burial will immediately follow at 12:30pm at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
