Gerald Eugene Hammond

Gerald Eugene Hammond 66, of Indianapolis, passed away January 17, 2011. His life was his family. Gerald enjoyed woodworking, fishing, the outdoors, kite flying, and designing his own puzzles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lida Hammond; and a brother, Richard Pate. He is survived by his children, Ron (Pam) Hammond, Tony (Victoria) Hammond, Karen (Blake) Bohr, Niki (Branden) Wooley; brother, Robert Case; sisters, Mary Swope, Sandee Cullison, Sara (Gary) Sauer; grandchildren, Thom Lankford, Jaclyn Hammond, Britnie Hammond, Tyler Hammond, Kelly Perry, Kairrie Noel, MacKensey Wooley, Rachael Lynch, Arik Lynch; great grandchildren, Hailey Perry, Zachery Noel, Austin Perry, Sophia Lynch, Johnathan Kennedy, Jr., and Joslyn Lynch. A funeral service for Gerald will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, visitation will be held at the funeral center from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow the services with burial of the cremated remains at a later date in Washington Park East Cemetery.
