Gerald E. Levi
91, of Indianapolis, passed away June 17, 2017. He was born in Scottsville, KY on August 27, 1925. He was an Army veteran of WWII, earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star in the European Theatre. After discharge from the Army, he moved to Indianapolis, where he worked and retired from the U.S. Naval Avionics Facility.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Birdie Levi of Scottsville; his brothers, Buford, Bobby and Billy all of Indianapolis; and his sister, Frances (Ewell) Kinslow of Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Leona; one daughter, Cynthia Levi of Florida; sister-in-law, Wanda (Bobby) Levi of Indianapolis; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm and Wednesday, June 21st from 9am until the service time of 11am at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
