Georgiadene Stevens

Georgiadene Stevens 96, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved her deeply, on September 25, 2014. She was a loving, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was born on a warm summer day on June 16, 1918 to George Washington Bowers and Grace Kochel. She grew up on a farm in the town of Tipton, Indiana, and married her childhood sweetheart Robert Stevens in 1936. They moved to Indianapolis in 1938. Georgiadene worked as a Decorator for Ethan Allen Furniture and her family and home came first, raising two wonderful daughters. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Stevens, brother, George Washington Bowers, II, sister, Helen McQuary. She is survived by her daughters Terri Dremonas , and Denise Stites (Tim); 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mom will be missed, but live on in our hearts forever.
