Georgia May Wilson, of Indianapolis was born on June 7, 1951 to the late John Harden Jr. and Susie A Henry.
She was a dedicated mother to her seven children and worked at the Marion County Juvenile Division of Indianapolis as a front desk receptionist where she later retired. She also did day work for many years. Her hobbies included bowling, playing cards, line dancing and she absolutely loved music. Georgia loved interior decorating and working in the yard planting flowers. She also loved to go shopping at JCPenney.
Sister Wilson accepted Christ at a young age as a Catholic.
She became a devoted member of The Pentecostal Church of God in 1981 and was the President of the Baptism Board for many years. She was a Choir member and a former usher.
Georgia May Wilson departed her life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 8:45pm at the age of 70 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Harden Jr. and Susie A. Henry; beloved husband Deacon Robert Lee Wilson; brother John Harden; sister Andrea Harden; nephew Herman Russell and best friends Gloria Phillips and Dorothy Adams.
She leaves to cherish her memory of her seven children, Joy Harris (Alan), Eld. Robert Wilson (Connie), Shonna Northington (James), Turquoise Gray, Antwan Wilson (Gemeka) Dec. Devin Wilson (LaKeshia), and Dorian Rudolph (Ronald). Sisters; Anne Henry and Wendy Russell, brothers; Harold Harden and Albert Harden. 26 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
